And I tought at first I accidentally caused the problem .. Because I deferred my orders so all my aircraft would come in a very short period (guess I had more than 20 aircraft coming in a day)
I Inteded to have all types close together cause I needed to wait for certain types in R alpha (767-300ER and A320). And scheduled all others in the same time of them starting delivery. My balance is the follwing:
A320-200:
100 ordered , 144 delivered 17 pending
757-200:
50 ordered, 98 deliverd no backlog
An-72:
50 ordered, 100 delivered no backlog
747-300
40 ordered, 40 delivered no backlog (wow )
MD-87
50 ordered, 100 delivered no backlog
But now comes the biggest confusion with my 767's:
Ordered 5 of each (200,200er,300,300er) over and over to have them close together and not wait for a certain type after the other has already been delivered a long time ago.
Afterwards I, as mentioned above, deferred all other orders so they would come around the first deliveries of the 300er.
In the back of my mind I guess I ordered 40 or 50 of 200 and 300, and 10 or 20 of the ER versions.. So this time I end up having LESS aircraft than ordered..
Just look at the balance:
767-200:
40/50 ordered, 53 delivered, 11 pending
767-200er:
10/20 ordered, 20 delivered no backlog
767-300
40/50 ordered, 45 delivered, 15 pending
767-300er:
10/20 ordered, 15 delivered no backlog (I'm very sure I have ordered 10 OR 20, but not 15..)
Guess many know the struggle of managing hundreds of aircraft.. but now we have to manage seemingly twice as much
(On the other hand, I'm planning sister companies in R alpha so the "little bit extra" doesn't bother me really, was just confused that there was a big hole in my finances )
