I just spent a holiday in Vancouver where Harbour Air operates regular seaplane service to the region's islands right from the downtown waterfront and it was very very fun to see.

Apologies if this is a covered topic that I missed, but I'm curious about the possibility of adding sea planes and seaports to the game. It would be particularly cool, but I'm sure challenging, to have the option to built a seaport as a terminal at certain costal or island airports. The demand would be low for sure, hopefully more than helicopters though. It would be fun to try to build a parallel network on coastlines and in archipelagos around the map.

Vancouver actually has two significant seaplane terminals. The one downtown is the busiest, but there is also a seaplane terminal at YVR at the south side of the terminal that's actually quite busy. If this were to be implemented in game, I would hope that some of the scores of seaplane terminals up the British Columbia coast would be included in game.

More importantly did you have a beer at the Flying Beaver?

I totally support this. Having been to Vancouver several times, I know that this is a big deal. Also, in the Maldives, Trans Maldivian has a huge network and over 50 twin otter seaplanes around the Maldivian islands. Seattle also has some flights, from lake union and lake Washington. This would also introduce new fleet types, such as the DHC-2 and DHC-2T beaver/turbo beaver, as well as the DHC-3(T) otter and the twin otter seaplane as well as the grand caravan on floats. Another idea for this is amphibious planes, such as the c208 amphibian, so you can fly from these seaplane airports to major land airports, which would have more demand

You see that here in Toronto. Amphibs from the downtown airport to lakes up north.
I fully support seaplane terminals. The ones in Vancouver/Victoria are quite busy! The Vancouver-Victoria route is actually Canada's busiest airline route, in number of flights.
