I had gotten a Cessna 404 thinking it would be perfect to connect smaller airports with my main Hub. problem is, no matter where it is coming from, it just cant pull a profit. What do most people use this plane for?
Cessna 404, useless?

Just Don't. If you want a smaller plane, use only one engine. Same thing happens with the Beech Starship and many of the helicopters. Too inefficient for the amount of pax carried. Try reconfiguring it in a C-class only config, that might make profit due to pricier tickets. Really, for the smaller planes, I would recommend DO228, Cessna Carvan, PC-6, BN-2A Islander, 1900D/C.

Usually small planes and airports don't really make much profits
Exactly. Your money is better spent on one wide body airliner rather than 10 tiny propliners.

Small planes like the Cessna 404 don't make money in the game no matter what, even with scam IFS. It's better to order larger jets that could make you more money.

It's good to bring up your average fleet age, which in turn helps your reputation, when ordered in large quantities,
So your 30 year old jumbo jets, effectively become 15 years old when paired with one, or 5 years old if you have 5 for every jumbo, etc.
The Pilatus PC-12 is good when used in such manner, too.

The F406 can turn decent but not exceptional profits because it is significantly more efficient than the 404 due to an error with the 404s fuel flow. Just make sure you break even on the gate cost on every route you run within 5 days. It's easy maths

If running an airline in S1 consider following the Emirates business model later in the game--a widebody-only fleet with a single, centralized hub for all operations.Small planes like the Cessna 404 don't make money in the game no matter what, even with scam IFS. It's better to order larger jets that could make you more money.

F406 is a true beaut..
But the C208 works just as well. The 406 has a bit more range than the 208 and is faster.

IMO Cessnas are only good as general aviation aircraft, not commercial airlines.
Damn shame nobody asked for your opinion
