I've asked for this world before, and I still think it would be a lot more entertaining. I love going from 1950 to modern times, but I get annoyed having 300 airlines because it makes the game turn into a spamline breeding ground as that becomes the only way to be competitive after about 30 years. While IRL there are thousands of airlines, there aren't 300 major carriers all operating 747's and A380's. Most airlines own 3 DHC-6's and cater to tourists, but that just isn't a strategy with AE. A world with 300 Delta/American/United/BritishAirways/etc just starts to suck after a while.

I think a small world (maybe 10 minute days?) from the 1950's to the 2020's would be a lot of fun.

I love this idea! I play in small worlds, and i like longer length worlds, as you get more time to develop. I would like, however, instead of 10-minute days, more like 20-minute ones as that works best for me personally.
