Has anyone ever requested a way to change IFS on a whole bunch of routes at once? I'm currently having this problem where I had set up all of my short and medium haul routes with a particular IFS, but this past week I've found an IFS that is better rated and more profitable than the previous one, the thing is that the older one is currently used on 3,686 frequencies (probably around a 1000 routes) and I would like to change it in all of them, is there already a way to do so?

 

Maybe that would be something to consider on the future releases, either a bulk change or allowing us to edit an IFS configuration that has already been saved.

 

EDIT: I just found the option on the bulk menu on the route window, but still I was hoping for something like the bulk change of seat configs where you can change all instances of that particular IFS instead of fishing for them on the route management window.

You can click save a couple of times and it will offer you to change the IFS on every route that doesnt have it applied.

There's this option of the in-flight services tab that lets you change a number of routes depending on their distance.

For your short/medium haul routes, that would be about 2500nm or less so all you you need to do is fill in the slots with the desired IFS and press set. Once you press set it will preset your routes so that whenever you open a new route under those certain distances, your IFS will already be filled in so you don't have to do it manually.

If you press set again, you will get the option to update all routes under the certain distances with the corresponding IFS that you filled in.

Cool, thanks, that really helps. I still think that for a future release it would be nice to have an option to directly swap one config for another one like you can do for seat configurations.

Ya, if you click save a couple of times, it will let you update all at once.
