I was just wondering if leaving my self 1 hour and 15 minutes is enough time to get through customs, collect my baggage and catch my connecting train from the airport to Albany, NY. My Lufthansa flight from Munich arrives in Concourse B.

I would say not. I'd say your arrival would look something like this:
15 minutes from arrival to the Immigration hall
20 minutes minimum to get through immigration
10-30 waiting for checked luggage
10 minutes to get out of Customs
10 minutes waiting for the AirTrain
5 minutes on the AirTrain
3 minutes getting from the AirTrain to your platform
All in all that adds up to 1 hour and 13 minutes in the absolute best-case scenario. If you've never flown through Newark before and don't know your way around, I'd say add at least 5 minutes onto each of these stages. As well, if there is any delay whatsoever you'll miss your train.

I'd agree with the last reply: You need more time: The numbers might look something like this:
20-30 to exit the plane
15 minutes from arrival to the Immigration hall
45 minutes minimum to get through immigration
10-30 waiting for checked luggage
15 minutes to get out of Customs
10 minutes waiting for the AirTrain
5 minutes on the AirTrain
3 minutes getting from the AirTrain to your platform to NJ Transit Train which runs on a schedule into Penn Station NYC
Then from Penn Station, you need to find the Amtrak which runs to either Montreal, Toronto, or Buffalo which stops at Albany NY, they are all on a schedule, should figure out the times before you leave the airport.
