Initially started as a way to connect South Africa, FLY ANC airlines have grown to become a truly international airline, with a fleet of more than 550/- airplanes and 300.000 daily guests, growing to become Africa’s leading airline, and a top 15 airline game-wide.

 

Now, as we journey on to our plan to serve a million guests over the next year, we’re looking to be a truly African airline and are in search of inspiration, and a full re-brand.

 

We’re willing to consider anyname, logo and brand. Send us your ideas for a honest review.  Whilst we can't guarantee we'll implement any suggestions, they'll certainly be considered with the up-most of request. 

 

We've received suggestions for a brand, see below. Now, we need a logo and livery. We're open to all submissions.

Since the airline is South-African, why not call it something with "bafana" (means boy). It is a typical Zulu word (a language spoken in South Africa) that most foreigners know and have heard of. Maybe Bafana Air, Bafana Airlines or something similar? It is also the nickname of the South-African national team in football.

Thanks for the awesome suggestion, Wego! Do you have any ideas of a logo or brand to go along with this? By the way, have you spent anytime in ZA or how did you pick up this knowledge?

You are welcome! No sorry, but I would suggest maybe ask someone here in AE to help make one for you. No I haven`t, but I picked up this knowledge during the football World Cup in 2010 that took place in South Africa. The best WC I have personally experienced so far.
