Two questions:

First, does anyone have any advice for choosing another plane? Currently, I have about 20 737-400's, all working their magic. I'm looking for a plane that has not quite 300, but more than 200 seats.

Second, if there is another airline already flying a route im looking at, and I start flying the route, yet with lower ticket prices, will this mean I will eventually take over the route? Overall, does the price change the # of customers that fly your airline?

Thanks!

For the first question, the 757-200 would be a good aircraft. For the second question, you should try to avoid competition, but if you can't, if the competitor lowers their prices, they will take it back. The price only changes the # of customers if you are winning the competition.

757-200 is the logical choice for the larger aircraft, as too is the 767-200, and by reducing seat count with config you increase legroom rating helping you battle against the competition.
