About your Airline: Filipino Airlines is a small airline based in Manila in R1. It currently operates Canadair Yukons and BAC 1-11-200 aircraft (to be replaced by Boeing 737-200} on regional destinations and the 747SP and L1011-500 on long haul routes and select regional flights. We currently have a hub in Manila, but we are planning to open a secondary base in Cebu, as well as focus cities in Davao and Clark. As of August 1979 gametime, we have a minimal IFS system on our regional flights. We plan to introduce a higher-quality IFS system onboard our upcoming Boeing 737 fleet. The same can be said for our fleet utilisation rate, which will be improved with the intorduction of our 737 fleet and delivery of our upcoming 747SP and L1011-500. Filipino has a strong competitive edge, in the respect that we are the only airline currently operating based in the Philippines in R1. We are currently part of Star Alliance, one of the strongest alliances in R1. At this stage, we have no subsidiaries, but we are considering forming a LCC.
