I was reading a book about all these airlines, and I noticed some cargo planes like El Al and Lufthansa had 747 cargo planes with passenger windows, and they weren't Combis, either. Any particular reason why?

Yeah, but I don't think they'd use a plane for passenger service that said Lufthansa Cargo on it, even with windows.

Most likely, it is a former pax. plane. Then, when it was converted, they simply left the windows.

u may as well buy a new aircraft if your willing to pay to get rid of the windows!! it would cost nearly as much to rip out the fuselage and replace it!

true but the most are just ''old'' Pax aircrafts that have been changed to Cargo...cos it's cheaper to buy a ''used'' pax aircraft and just convert it to a cargo plane then buying a brand new cargo plane,
