Dance competition

Car races-NASCAR or Formula One or both

American Football

and likewise Arena Football

Golf

Checkers

Chess

Chess Boxing

Roller Derby

talking of derby's-car derbys

Horse Racing

Bowling

Billiards

That thing where Swedish and Norwegians get on trees and start dancing until they fall on the water..

Air Races

Frisbee throwing...

Dog Racing

That thing where you throw a ball to the wall with a huge wooden yellow stick (Jai Alai is it??)

Those westminster Dog shows (ESPN has them on their programming so why not?)

And likewise as ESPN has this too, Spelling Bee

Cheerleading

Futsal

I included dancing because, those of us that have done that in the past, trust me buddy, it's a sport...you need hours of moving your muscles around, getting you tired as hell and sometimes hurt to become a good dancer.

Also and no offense intended to the women here but I would LOVE the American Football lingerie league included.

So

Bowling and futsal, yes, Im for those. But local sports like that Swedish thing shouldnt be included because its practically guaranteed that the Swedes or Norwegians would win that every year.

Yeah, probably, currently to my eyes bizarre "sport" called dressage (nicely groomed horses dancing) is in the Olympics, I don't see why would that even be there, let alone why human dancing would be considered less of a sport.

Well, if you ask me, all professional sports are a waste of time and only sports I care about are my activities...

But dumb masses like all that crap despite all the disgusting doping and dirty money and the perverse fact that some dumb football clubs are worth more than GDP of an entire small poor African country, the fact that many troubled cities will spend on a stadium as much money that would buy them a metro rail system and a new airport and a new university campus.... and so on, it's hard to even count all the ridiculous comparisons, but it's hard to disagree with the majority who will pay more and more to be a part of that stupid corrupt circus.

Essentially it's all just show business.

Interesting answers all. I will say people like watching sports to see who will win, and to maybe be part of a historic moment (if you are there in person)

But yeah sports are part of the larger entertainment world's picture.
