Bring a laptop or phone, stack up on movies that you can't watch on the aircraft, use your phone if the plane has WiFi, sleep (if it's night or maybe a nap can be time consuming) Bring schoolwork, watch the airlines IFE, Walk around if your legs are sore from sitting, play games if the aircraft has that enabled on it's IFS, maybe even write a trip report for AE of your experience

Not helpful. Basically keep some movies on a device to watch stuff not in the IFE. Easy pass of an 8 hour flight.
