We have been playing AE3.1 for years. I know that AE4 is going to be a very large update. Why dont just update the game with the content of the next AE updates as they are getting made?
Why dont making more updates with smaller content?

Because the whole website has to be restructured. This is completely from scratch, it'll be a whole different game.
