Today, we at Volant, have decided to start a new chapter in the history of this alliance. It has surely come to your attention that many leading alliances like D|D and Avant currently have suspended operations because of the member inactivity. Many members have found themselves in a blank space where there is little to none inter-alliance cooperation and in-game operations just last half way through the world. New members have little from where to learn from and almost no ways to interact and cooperate.
Therefore, looking at the problems we think this community as a whole is facing, we have decided that the time is right to do something. To make alliance cooperation for established members easier and meaningful again, to help new members with potential learn how to cooperate and advance in terms of running a realistic airline, and most importantly, to revive the co-op between players of ae at all levels. We hope to achieve this by creating a community, where people will be happy, one that would be helpful to everyone.
One of the main changes and additions to Volant will be the launch of the Mentorship Programme. It will be optional for our new members and will provide them with a mentor to oversee your operations within the alliance, and should need arise, teach and lead you on how to run your airline in a better, more realistic way. Once a mentor has been assigned to you, he will dedicate as much time as he feels you need in the initial 20 day period. You can, of course, quit the programme if you don’t like it anytime during this period. Than, to follow up, you and your mentor will discuss whether or not you need more time in the programme.
The newly refreshed brand will also be a complement to the new Volant, which, we hope, will help turn the concept of alliance back to a great community which interacts and co-operates.
