I ran an AN24 for 27 years. I like to replace them before then though.

With the Boeing 737-300, you have to use it for 7 1/2 years to justify buying it. If you keep it for less time than that, then it would have been cheaper to lease. You can count in the money you get from selling it to someone who can't afford new ones, though.
