As a person who actually gets paid to code things... I'm going to rely on what I actually know vs your opinion.
Ouch, that hurts.... I won't bore you with details of my day job, suffice to say it's a knowledge based opinion.
If AE4 is not being built in a modular, containerised way maybe using Docker for the software components and Beanstalk to manage the infrastructure then the it's already dead.
How many weeks (months) did we see loooong wait times to do things like modify a route?, how many times did you see the nginx proxy error message? How long did it take to fix and what was the fix? move to a bigger server. All bad. bad. bad. so if AE4 has the same development philosophy it will look nice, but fall flat after a few months. Then we can start talking about AE5
