Haven't seen this one yet: no Airbus or Boeing. Would make for an unusual world. Has it been done before?
Edit: in the same vein, has Soviet Bloc/Russian only world been done before?

Nah, commies didn't have much to offer before the small Il-12/14, and Tu-104 in 1956, that one is cool but it has short range and nasty fuel consumption.
I'd like to start around 1963 when there are An-10, An-24, Il-18, Tu-114 and Tu-124 available, and expecting new Tu-134, Tu-154 as new standard main-line planes and Il-62 to show off (another cool gas-guzzler but there should be some extra money to waste by that time).
And finishing at least 15 years later, I'd like to see more work for Tu-204 and Il-96.

The reason is simple: to add a degree of difficulty by removing the 'best'/most efficient aircraft.

Exactly. Maybe the mods could change the title to include "/Soviet World".
Is there a list of planned worlds that this gets added to now?

I also support this idea. If airlines weren't allowed to get Boeing or Airbus planes, they would have to rely on gas-guzzling Soviet planes to make profits, which would probably decrease profit margins, and overall create a hard world to have a successful airline in. +1.

It has been brought up in the past & nothing has ever come from it. That being said, it would be a fun alternate game. There would be lots of options in the earlier years, but in modern times, the game would be quite a challenge, but there are still enough interesting aircraft to make a game out of it.
