I somehow have the site propagated, but the game servers not. Great.
Welcome to the New Server

The worlds should all be moving now (definitely by the next half hour).
It will take 1-2 days for the new server to be fully matched with the AE domain names across the internet. During this period, you might randomly get redirected to the old server or a maintenance page when trying to log in to an airline. If clearing your DNS cache and restarting your browser does not work, you can add this line to your hosts file:
96.30.62.133 airline-empires.com ae31.airline-empires.com

Still get the error for the game servers with adding the line into the hosts file.

-EDIT-
The R4 world is online so, I can rule that out.

The new, faster server I think is the most important improvement to AE since I started playing.
Just curious Yuxi.......but how much faster is the new server compared to the old one ?

Thanks Yuxi, the move has made things a lot faster for me. Looking forward to running my new airline

Try taking out the second line (there shouldn't be an "http://" in the hosts file).

As a brand new player, I just want to say that my experience has improved tremendously since the upgrade. Thank you, and good work!
I was just thinking that, I started this week.

Nope, still doesn't work.

I put an hour or so on . Its pretty nice. I don't know much about servers but it musta been costly.

Good work & well done. I like what you've done with the place! Thank you. Hope the new servers weren't too expensive.

Yes, thank you so much Yuxi (and anyone else involved)!
Like Gevans and Dieseltu, I would love to hear the story behind the server change (what kind of upgrade from what to what you had to do to make this happen!).

Having just started playing a couple weeks ago, this is a tremendous improvement. Thank you.

I found an interesting bug quite inadvertantly today...not sure if this is related to the move though
I scheduled a route between LGW and MCO with a Concorde and rented one gate at each... (yeah...bad idea in hindsight)...then terminated my lease on the concorde.
This got rid of my flights, and when I then assigned a new plane to the route (A300B4), I discovered that while I no longer was renting any gates at either LGW or MCO, I could still add flights to my hearts desire, and not be charged for the slots/gates.
Additionally, all my other LGW routes continue to function as normal, but I seem to have stopped paying for LGW and MCO gate rental fees, and then no longer appear at the top of my home screen destination selector.
Any thoughts on this?
