Even though the range is up to 8000 miles my longest flight is only 6600 miles but this could change if somebody mentions a good LR replacement

What about the Airbus A340-200 or -300 model? Both come out in 1993, with their maximum payload range being between 8,000 to 8,300 miles.

IRL though there were so few 747SPs that they barely count.
Rather keep buying 747-200 (can cover most of routes where you can earn some real money), 1011 and DC-10 and replace them with 747-400, 777 and A330 later.
If you catch some used 747SPs, and too many players will put a lot of them on the used market, they can make money, but not as good as some others. Later replace them with A340/777, as others recommended.
And when you get to that point, the same drill, avoid 772LR and buy only used. -.-

I want it too and have ordered 10 units as initial order and planned to take up to 40 more planes. The only aircraft in 1970-1990 that able to reach US west coast non-stop from Jakarta, and possibly middle US area from east Indonesia...
