Yeah, I know, my companies with 5000-10000 planes were tiny compared to some... But still, in a big country like USA or China where you really can get to #1, you won't need more than 200 gates that much...

You're not spamming it right. Also, he operate from only 1 airport, unlike China or the US where you fly from multiple airport. Also, it might to do with gate restrictions in airports on another countries which only have 1 slots left.

I see your airlines now.

First of all, you're not a noob with such a big airline to ask at the "new players" section (take it as a compliment). :P

Second, are you actually sure you're asking about domestic routes?

If you really must reach 200 gate limit and you really need more than 3000 destinations from one mid-sized airport, and you're at the same time so massively over-spamming capacity for routes you are holding by yourself by some 5-10 times from nominal demand and killing your profit, I just don't know what are you asking for here...

For me that doesn't make much sense (I go either for some "realistic" quality small or mid-sized airlines, or a massive 5000+ fleet trillions of profit and #1 ranking domination from some bigger country), but this is an open-end game, so if that's your thing...

You have a request that you must find an answer for by yourself because very few have tried something with the same mission...

Most people here ask what's profitable to get an airline off the ground, then some discuss what's even more profitable, or raising reputation or saving money, or what would be realistic.

This is just, well, special.

By the way, A350-900R, completely opposite of domestic, but has high capacity and relatively short runway demand. But I don't get the point.

I am an old player but before I never continued playing until this late stage in the game because of university and exams but now I continued to be in the top 3 so I am not really aware of the best new planes :D and I couldn't find a better section to ask like this may be the best eventhough I am not new :P

I am spamming airports because I have transit passengers so that's extra cash. if I don't wanna spam so 50 gates will be almost enough for me to cover all the airports on the map. and now I am traveling to almost every possible airport so I wanna save slots by using huge airplanes. even if a route within less than 300 miles I am using now A380s or B747-400D if the runway is short.

I considered thinking about having an airport in a bigger country with multi airports next game but that would be so much pressure on me due to competition so I will always check the routes and lower prices to compete while in my situation I have almost 20 routes only with competition among the 2300 destinations I have so that would be much easier for me. and if from the beginning of the game I focus well to reach rank 1 and had more time I was able to do it and i am close now but it's better to end up top 3 now and learn from my mistakes for the next time :)

And yea the A350-900R isn't short range airplane but it has good runway along with the A350-800 compared tot he A340s

Just choose Airbus A340-300 or A340-300E.

Compare

 Stats                747D                   A340-300E     A340-300

Mileage          8216miles              8288miles      8077miles

Price              $168million            $157million    $152million

Speed             544mph                  543mph          547mph

Passengers     660                          440                  440

A340-600 is also good and $8 million cheaper, with more mileage and passengers.

But you need to wait until 2002 then you can buy.
