Who plays War Thunder?

For those who don't know, it's a free WW2 Fighter sim for Windows/Mac and it's pretty cool what you can do with it. You can play as the US, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, or Russia, and all the aircraft are very realistic. In the US, you start with P-26 Peashooters (Which I didn't know existed until I played War Thunder) but can unlock aircraft like the F4U Corsair, F9F Panther, B17 Superfortress, P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, SBD-3 Dauntless, and the F-80 Sabre. In the US, Germany, and Russia you can also unlock tanks for ground battles. In general the game is pretty cool. There are a few problems I have, like the lack of a campaign mode, but the game is great to have fun with!

Maybe we could make an AE squadron!

I played it then it got to cash whoring. It started off pretty decent for a Free to play game but each update made it harder to progress free to play so its lost all my credit shame.

Agreed!

 

It's a fairly realistic game, but it takes a long time to rank up if you aren't playing the game 24/7. I enjoy it, although I haven't played in a while.
