Here in the United States, presidential candidates are coming out of the woodwork and launching campaigns nationwide.

Sanders 2016
Just gave $10 to him
I'm supporting Bernie Sanders for the position of him making Clinton stronger (she is weak right now but my fav in the race). Any Democrat who honestly wants Sanders to be our nominee is not informed on how bad he would be in the general election. If Biden or Gore jump in, I will support them (and Gore > Biden), although Biden might violate my "chance in the general" clause.
If I was to vote in the Republican primary I would vote for Donald Trump to see him screw over the Republicans, but seriously I would choose John Kasich or Chris Christie. If John Kasich actually won the primary I would be conflicted .
Hmm, I don't know, Do I support crazy ass Democrat who don't use their logic or crazy ass Republican who don't use their logic? Hard to choose. Neither?
The US president and of the whole world should be the Getúlio Vargas
I honestly believe that all of our candidates (including potential candidates) suck. I mean really?!? Of all the Americans' who could run from President, these are the most "qualified" to become the next ruler of the Free World? Take our two "Front-runners" on each side of the isle. I don't trust Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server and how she handled the Benghazi Attack (and I'm not alone-according to a July 28th Quinnipiac Poll, 91% of republicans and 51% of Democrats do not have a favorable view of Clinton). And then we have Donald Trump who has flat out pissed off the most of the minority races in this country. But those are your two front runners america. Congratulations.
As an added bonus, we also have a self proclaimed Socialist Running for President. Last time I checked, I lived in the US of A and NOT the (now gone) USSR.

Sanders is self described socialist in a country that has placed the term in no no zone like the swastika or Hitler mustache.
He has no chance in the general. And he won't run as independent because he knows that his lack of chance would simply become Hillary's if he ran.
I'd say that the fact that Sanders is an unabashed socialist in the United States shows he's got some balls... And the fact that people are listening and supporting his message says a lot about where peoples' heads are at nowadays.
Also, PJB, since when does a person's political beliefs bar them from running for office in the United States? This is the US of A and NOT the (now gone) USSR.

THIS.
From what I've read, Sanders is currently leading in several New Hampshire polls so that's pretty interesting, he's also getting pretty decent turnouts at his rallies.
That said, whilst I like Sanders, I'm worried he'll hurt the Democrats in the General by forcing Clinton to the left in the Primaries.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of Clinton, and I think she (and Biden if he decides to run) might not do well in the General election due to being "tainted" so to speak by being part of Obama's administration; I'd rather it be her than any of the Republicans (because let's be honest a Republican/Conservative team up in US/UK combined with Liberal government here in Aus (assuming they stay in power after next year's election) makes me think we'll end up with yet another invasion of somewhere...)
my name is vermin my name is vermin my name is vermin vermin vermin supreme
and yu can vote and yu can vote for me for president if yu want to and uh.
vote for the gumboot
plus free ponies for all
Sanders has balls for running as a Socialist. Trump had balls for calling illegal immigrants rapists but that doesn't mean he is going to win either.

You seem to be completely concerned with electability. I don't know about you, but to me that means the same bull**** we've been putting up with for years. People on the inside with boring ideals that won't solve our goddamned problems.
Ignoring electability is why Nader won 3% in 2000 and gave us George W. Shrub
Except Nader ran as a third party with like you said, 3% of the vote. Bernie Sanders is running for the Democratic nomination and is polling only 10 point behind Clinton in key states. Your analogy is flawed.

I'm not sure whether this is what i'd do in the states, but i'd vote for Clinton. She has experience and knows what the hell is happening to the United States.
