I've been away for a couple years and back then I mentioned a few ways to improve AE.

 

I'm pleased to see a few of what I think are positive changes, at least for someone who's life can't be all about AE.

 

- Game worlds with no leasing, I know not everyone will agree but not being able to lease aircraft dramatically slows down the expansion of airlines. This was the reason I've never finished a game world......because I like building up a top 10 airline but after a few years in most games with leasing that means running over a thousand aircraft, something I don't have time for.

 

- The speed seems to be faster now.........15 - 20 minutes instead of 20 - 30 per day, I like that on some game worlds.

 

- Also, the micromanaging required to run an airline seems to be easier now.......or is that just my imagination.

 

Anyways .........I think Yuxi has been listening to us and making AE better.

 

 

Are there other ways AE has become better ?

For once I agree... one of the best selling points of AE imo is its huge database of operable aircraft.

I agree too, lots of aircraft to choose from is a good thing and by diversifying the selection it also takes some of the pressure off the the aircraft models some of us really want.

 

And helps to confuse those who aren't sure what they want.

By the way, some planes have completely wrong fuel flows. For example, in AE, the Cessna 406 has 176 fuel flow. The 404 which is in the same family has two thousand four hundred and something! At least one of these numbers is wrong and I'm sure it's the latter because i've found verified fuel flow info on the cessna f406 somewhere.

re c406 and c404, yes some family different type of engines, turbos on the 406, and pistons of 404, will alter the fuel flow, but have to admit the difference seems odd,

Extraordinary effort must have been entailed in divining another "world" strictly for owned aircraft. Same holds true for expediting to 15/20 min "worlds" v. 30 min "worlds".

 

Perhaps it is easier to run an airline!

 

The biggest positive change has to be all the advertising. The ads are terrific! I constantly find myself drawn away from AE and clicking upon the links. I couldn't agree with you more!
