What would be the "ideal" IFS System for a 1,000-2,500 mile route for a plane with only economy class seats? Please include items and corresponding price settings. Everytime I try to figure this out, I end up with a negative passenger profit value

Think of it as if you personally were going on the trip. What would you want to be served peanuts and crackers or sandwiches and chips? (so anywhere between 1-3 in selection for meals/snacks )

None. Don't provide anything for realistic airlines.

You don't need pillows and blankets for 1000-2500 miles... that's a maximum of 4-4.5 hours in real life

Some airlines offer free meal services though, they're not all substandard Yankee carriers.

Airlines that charge for food are not substandard if they do if to reduce the cost to you, which most AE airlines including mine do not. I recommend free pillows and blankets and $2 newspapers in accessories, and 4 star meals priced accordingly, and free 4 star snacks. You should get a decent profit making IFS doing this. Also, it pleases the customers for quality.

Reduce the cost for me? If I fork out for a full service airline I expect to be able to sit without my knees hitting the seat ahead. Long story short? It's not for reducing prices, it's increasing greed.

How tall are you. If you are 6ft 6 or less, you will be fine in Streamline Airways 32 inch pitch economy class.

Streamline isn't a real airline. :)
Also, can you have that in proper measurements?

Easyjet will be fine for you if you are either below around 6ft 2 inches in height or have booked extra legroom. Either way is good.

Yeah I love flying airlines that don't even serve this country. Thanks for the help. (What this has to do with IFS? I don't know. Time to put this train back on its tracks) The only proper FSC I've found seems to be VLM *cough* TNT, they serve free snacks/ a breakfast onboard, adequate legroom and free czeched bag. And that's ehat I think FSCs should give.

I'd just have newspapers and magazines for a couple bucks.

oops...

Aer Lingus should be fine. Seat pitch and legroom are both equal to or better than BA. Pricing, I am unsure.
