There is a bug in the system that is delaying the delivery of new aircraft.
I ordered B747-400 which is supposed to be delivered in 1989. Whereas the existing orders of B747-100/200/300 and SP are current. So now when I order any Boeing 747's with the status of existing then why is the delivery going to be after the commencement of the B747-400. If that is the case it should not be allowed to ask for an order 2 years before the actual delivery but only a few months before.
I do remember in the earlier version there was an override which allowed the existing production aircraft to be delivered even if one had ordered New Production ones. Please try to fix this issue because it is killing future plans and existing strategies.

This is an issue with AE. For now, you'll have to deal with it. Until the bug is fixed, place existing aircraft orders before placing new aircraft order. For example, 5 A319-100, then A319neo.

Actually, the example provided is incorrect (the A319-100 and A319neo are in two distinct aircraft families), but the advice is correct (a better example would be to order all your 747-300s before the 747-400 starts delivery)
