A small suggestion:

It would save a lot of time if we had a function to copy over the seat configs..

It would serve in the purpose of updating aircraft..

Scenario 1:

For example I have 8F, 42J and 228Y in a 777-300ER (SQ config :giggle:) with an IFE system named "AVOD1".

Suppose I want to replace the aging 77Ws with newer ones that have updated IFE called... "AVOD1.5".

I only want the updated IFE on new build 77Ws...

Could it be possible to just copy over the old config, and change the IFE?

Scenario 2:

I have 8F 42J 228Y in a 777-300. Could I just copy the config over and order 777-300ER with the same config?

It's like how Delta has the same config in the 777-200ER and 777-200LR.

Harrison

Good idea. Suggested before, please check before posting next time.

I like it but the fact is different aircraft having a whole seperate config is the best way, copying could prevent a bug such a s a 500Y 737.......

in the first instance, yes I agree IFE should be able to be changed without a whole new config.

I think it would work if copying was limited to only in between aircraft in their subfamilies (eg.. B777-300 and 777-300ER, or 767-200/ER)

Sorry, didn't check up in the ones a long time ago
