For an Australian Airline it should be able to fly from Auckland to Singapore. Because in the real world Jetstar used to fly this route but have now stopped.

I believe airlines are restricted to routes from  their starting countries in AE except for European airlines I believe. Not realistically accurate. Anyway did Jetstar have 5th freedom rights for this route. Wasn't  this route done by Jetstar Airways for the  Jetstar Asia division from Singapore to Auckland and not from Auckland to Singapore?

This route was actually a Jetstar Asia route which is by law a SIngaporean airline. As far as i know the flight was operated by a Jetstar aircraft (and probably Jetstar flight crew) but was technically a Jetstar Asia flight as denoted by the flight numbers 3K401 and 3K402(?) which were used. The easiest way to think of it is as a wet lease whereby Jetstar operated SIN-AKL on behalf of Jetstar Asia.
