"All Change At Anglo" 12 July 2011 - Rδ
_____________
Greetings.
Kai - Anglo International has begun a complete overhaul of its operation. This will begin with the implementation
of new, superior in-flight services offering a better, higher quality product as well as the Premium Economy becoming
simply "Premium" with a new four star product as well as an increase in legroom as part of the new interiors due to be
rolled out across the 43-strong Airbus A320-200 fleet of aircraft. This number is due to shrink to approximately 40
aircraft once the new A321-200 aircraft are introduced which will take on the role of operating the larger trunk routes
from our Heathrow base currently operated by the -200. Meanwhile, the -200 series A320 will soon begin to replace
the ageing fleet of 50 Airbus A320-100 aircraft, which have a low average daily usage of just 11 hours or under.
We would also like to take this opportunity to announce our large order for both Airbus narrowbody and Boeing
widebody aircraft, which consist of the following;
- 70 Airbus A321-231
- 60 Boeing 787 (-8 & -9 mix)
- 50 Boeing 747-8I
This order will allow Anglo to begin long haul operations from Heathrow later this year with our first Boeing 787-8
due at the start of September with our first route being announced in the next edition of Vol.
Anglo will also be introducing a new five-star First Class service on board 787-9 and 747-8I aircraft. This will be
inaugurated on Long Haul services when our first 747-8I "Jumbo Jet" arrives in May 2012 and will be introduced
on Medium Haul services when our first 787-9 "Dreamliner" arrives in August 2014.
