I cannot wait to see the new Etihad livery.
I saw the tail on one of their A380's on the production line when I was in Toulouse in July and it looks pretty stunning by any standards, should be rolled out in October this year by my watch.
This tail?

Deconstructivism.
I'm not a fan of the style but I hope to see it fully painted. Who knows, it might turn out well.

Challenge: show me a livery that looks worst than the one above. A shame for Portuguese aviation.

I actually find it rather quirky.

Yeah that one is not so bad, but when they paint the engines with blue, green, pink or red like this...:
Just ewww.

Well it adds to the quirkiness, and fits in nicely with the brand of the airline; their slogan, 'coloured by you' is rather good for a charter operator, where the ability to adapt to each customer's differing needs and requirements is key.

Did someone say 'colourful'?

Has everybody forgotten the original 'colourful' airline?
These guys kicked it all off in October 1995:

Ok... I'm sure you will 'love' this...
Uggh the Winglets are ****ing ugly, the old one are way better! Why don't they fitted it with raked wingtips like the one on B737 Poseidon? or the one on B787?

Overall I think WN have done a decent job. I was never a fan of WN's previous image. It was terribly inconsistent and felt somewhat dated, but was however very identifiable, with the image in general being closely associated with Southwest's values. It of course worked well, but with the airline looking towards international expansion, I doubt how well an airline with such branding would fare in new markets where they are relatively unheard of. I therefore find it unsurprising they decided to refresh the brand to something more universally relatable, and indeed I feel what they've come up with does the job. It's reminiscent of the airline's previous image, but also feels more corporate and more fitting for an international carrier.

What do you think about this:
Tacky low cost airline. I much rather prefer Allegiant...

What do you think about this:
It have In your face element to it, which fit their company. The black give classic look to modern bright yellow, it give great twist to it, way better than easyjet. For some reason, it give me an impressions of Formula Car colors.
