Official Zigma Response - Cluckerson Inc Airlines Group RFP

Thank you for your interest in Zigma. Here is your proposed order:

  • 18 + 8 A400w series aircraft, two class config (~$300M USD)
  • 8 + 4 A391w series aircraft (~$300M USD)
  • 21 A221n series aircraft (~$230M USD)
  • 12 V151ER series aircraft (~$95M USD)
  • 4 Family 1100ER series aircraft (~$15M USD)

This comes to a total of 63 firm orders with 12 additional options, a market valuation of approximately $17.4 billion USD. We are willing to offer you your entire order for $15.2 billion USD, which includes complementary training, maintenance, and upgrade support for 3 years post-manufacturing.

Zigma would like to note that the A400w series has been deprecated in anticipation of ending manufacturing within the next five years. Regardless of manufacturing status, your aircraft will continue to be supported throughout the duration of your fleets' lifespan. If you would like to consider an alternative aircraft, we recommend the A391w series.

Concerning your interest in the G series aircraft, we will need more specifics about what your goals are. How many passengers do you need to seat? What conditions will the aircraft encounter? What is the target range (beyond 3000nm)? Preliminary analysis indicates that we can reconfigure the G81LR aircraft to reach 2750nm by reducing the passenger load to 50max, but further design and certifications will be required to go beyond those specs.

We look forward to working together to make your birds come to life.

Cluckerson Inc has announced the conversion of its 8 A400W options into the A391 alternative and confirms the rest of the $15.2b order.

As for the newer G series model, the proposed 50 seater aircraft  would be perfect for Nile Air's  inter african operations.

Nikel Aircraft Company has launched today with fanfare at its new state-of-the art facility in Gary, Indiana, located at the Gary/Chicago International Airport. The company has launched its RJN like [Regional Jet by Nikel], which will consist of aircraft in the 70-120 seat range, due to unprecedented demand for the retirement of older, more fuel-guzzling jets.

The RJN family will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines, which should deliver up to a 20% fuel burn advantage over current-generation airliners.

RJN100

Cockpit Crew: 2

Max. Seat Capacity: 76 (2-2 in Y)

Range with max. payload and fuel reserves: 2800 miles (max 3400 miles)

Engines: 2x PW1000G engines

RJN200

Cockpit Crew: 2

Max. Seat Capacity: 108 (2-2 in Y)

RJN300

Cockpit Crew: 2

Max. Seat Capacity: 140 (2-2 in Y)

Range with max. payload and fuel reserves: 2600 miles (max 3100 miles)

The Nikel Group has received a confirmed launch customer for the RJN100. Avion [France] has ordered a confirmed 20 RJN100 aircraft, with 10 options. The airline has also signed a letter of intent for 20 RJN300 aircraft, to replace its current E-190 aircraft.

The company is looking to launch its first mainline airliners sometime in the next month.

FIRST FLIGHT OF THE ISLANDER 7A IS A SUCCESS!

At last, after several months of delays, Islander's newest baby is airborne! This marks the start of the Islander 7's flight test campaign that will last up to 1 and a half years.

Islander Aerospace, known for manufacturing spacecraft, light aircraft and military aircraft has high hopes of entering the mainstream commercial aircraft market. The islander 7 is their answer to the growing demand for passenger travel. Demand is high for the large narrowbody segment as many economies are booming in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Start-up airlines as well as established ones are demanding more and more aircraft to serve routes that never were profitable in the past.

Islander offers a family of aircraft with top-notch performance and economics to allow airlines reach further than before. The first aircraft in the family, which first flew today, is the Islander 7A. Seating up to 238 persons in single class configuration and with the range of 10,000km, no other aircraft matches its capability of range and capacity. It is a true route opener as it can link two small cities that are further apart profitably giving airlines more options to where they want to fly to. The second aircraft in the family which will take flight is the Islander 7B. It will be a stretch of the 7A with slightly decreased range. Seating up to 298 passengers and capable of flying up to 8,500km, it offers an unbeatable per-seat costs.

Nikel,
$4.4bn is much too high. We were aiming for much lower than this. We suggest $3bn, with no training required, along with anything else possible to cut costs. Do not rule out replacing pilots seats with stools. One more thing, we are looking into 72 Economy Plus seats and 68 Standing Class spaces. Would this add costs? Windows aren't necessary, only 1 toilet is.needed.
