Hi!

In this roleplay, you can create an aircraft manufacturer, and from there on, just make up the story of your business!

RULES:

Keep it realistic (No 7 story aircraft, United buying 400 of your first aircraft, etc.)

If you can, please include a picture of the aircraft  (drawing, something like that)

Aside from that, just no criticism unless constructive...

Fire away!

Islander Aerospace

fb975g.jpg

Introducing the Islander 7 family! Market forecasts reveal a trend of an increasing demand for larger narrowbodies requiring longer ranges and improved airfield performance. With new engine technologies this has been made possible. Two Pratt & Whitney geared turbofans make it possible to decrease fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to similar-sized aircraft. Special wingtip devices called the flextip reduce drag by flexing into different shapes for optimum aerodynamic efficiency at different speeds, helping overall fuel consumption. An extra-wide cabin improves passenger comfort and boarding time. The single-aisle design helps the aircraft be up to 40 tonnes lighter than its competitors which are the small widebodies. A 298 maximum capacity as well as advanced engine technologies and aerodynamic efficiency together makes the Islander 7 family achieve one of the most unbeatable CASMs in the industry.

Islander 7-A
Cockpit crew: 2

Max. seating capacity: 238

Cargo: 13x LD3-45

Overall length: 48.61m

Wingspan: 44.0m

Fuselage width: 4.22m

Range: 10,000km

Engines: 2x Pratt&Whitney PW2000G

Islander 7-B
Cockpit crew: 2

Max. seating capacity: 298

Cargo: 18x LD3-45

Overall length: 56.11m

Wingspan: 44.0m

Fuselage width: 4.22m

Range: 8,500km

Engines: 2x Pratt&Whitney PW2000G

Announcing also the development of a 199-seat Islander 7 derivative called the Islander 6. This aircraft will be optimized for low-cost carriers but will have the comfort of a widebody airliner. The shorter fuselage would allow faster turnarounds. The smaller wing would allow the aircraft to use ICAO class C gates that is abundant in many smaller airports and is widely used by smaller narrowbody aircraft. The aircraft will have two engine options namely the Pratt&Whitney PW1100G, and the Aviadvigatel PD-14.

Order your aircraft now and I'll paint it in your livery. :)

Very nice!

At the moment, there are rumors of Conquest Aviation Industries designing a new 130 seat mid range airliner.

The company is yet to confirm whether the rumors are true or not.

Islander Aerospace is proud to announce that Air Africa firms up its order of 11 Islander 7-A and 4 7-B single-aisle aircraft with options of up to 15 more convertible to either type. This is the first customer of the type rendering them the launch customer for both 7-A and 7-B variants. This will replace their fleet of ageing Boeing 757's. The longer range would allow them to open new routes to Europe, Asia and the Middle East more efficiently from their hub at Lagos. The aircraft will will be configured with their new Economy and Business class product.

My Manufacturer, Boring, based in Seattle, has produced the 747-401 aircraft which is astoundingly similar to Boeing's 747 series aircraft except far cheaper than Boeing charge for a similar aircraft.

My Aircraft is also made with the shoddiest materials possible, and price comes before workmanship.

Zigma is proud to announce that Rainier Transport Services is going Z!

RTS, a regional commuter airline serving the Pacific Northwest, has placed an order for 3 Glide 410 aircraft, 3 Glide 410C aircraft, 2 Family 1100 aircraft, and 2 Family 1100ER aircraft. All aircraft will be configured with wifi and power services.

RTS expects to retire its entire current fleet by the end of 2018, which currently consists of HS-748 and Bombardier CRJ-100 series aircraft. "They have served us well," stated Mark Hallen, "but they are approaching 25 years of dedicated service, and we want to improve the product we offer our passengers. Zigma provided the best options for our fleet modernization, and we're excited to be going Z."

RTS has also signed onto Regional Sense, a maintenance program offered by Aeroways Aviation for smaller regional operators, which allows Zigma aircraft to be expertly monitored and serviced by professional licensed technicians. RTS will be served by the PNW base located at Portland International Airport.

ACAEC

(英汉航空工程有限公司, AngloChinese Aerospace Engineering corporation)

ACAEC is proud to anounce the release of the first of its 8xx-x8x series aircraft.

The AH810-181

avarage speed=1793

max seats=220

range min=5,180mi

range max=6,020mi

turn time=50 min

min runway length=7,251ft

fule flow=12,857

engins=2 ACAEC turbo ram X153 jet engins

The new type of engins alows this plane to reach high speeds at good fule efficiency as it is a cross bettween a standard high efficiency turbo-jet, and a top of the range ram-air jet, this alows it to function at speeds of up to mach 2.4 without breaking any fule burn laws that comertial aircrafts must pass, this means that it can reach its destination much faster than its counterpart aircrafts from other manufacturers, also due to the increased efficiency, the same sized fule tanks can get it ferther, but in a bid to inprove the efficiency even ferther the wings are slightly larger, alowing slightly more fule to be stored.

Official Zigma Response --- Air Africa RFP

Thank you for your interest in the Family 710 series. We can make a dedicated cargo variant, pending your specifications. Rough limits at this point would allow for up to 8,000 pounds of cargo with a minimum landing distance of 3,000 feet. If this is not sufficient, we can do heavier modifications, but doing so will incur additional charges.

Your current order will be $12.5 million USD per passenger aircraft, $10 million USD per cargo variant.

We look forward to working together to make your birds come to life.

-----

As for getting a drawing, I'm afraid I'm completely inept at modifying/sketching photos. Suffice it to say, imagine the Lightweight Regionals to share a remarkable likeness to the ATR-42 series aircraft. If you wish to create your own rendition of ZAA's aircraft, by all means do so.

8,000lbs of cargo and 3000ft of runway distance sounds great. The range should be at around 1,500nm to 2,000nm.

As for the drawing, I'll make my own but I expect huge discounts on my order. :P
