Ritz Airlines was ranked as high as 3rd until late last month - I managed to parley 102 destinations into an airline worth 47.7 billion dollars as of today.

However - you might have noticed that currently, though I have the 3rd largest fleet in O2, the utilization is at 3.4 hours or so, so most of my planes are languishing as I have not had sufficient time to devote to expanding routes.

So I am wondering if someone enterprising and willing to accept restrictions and will follow up on any  suggestions I might make would like the opportunity to take Ritz Airlines to the numer 1 spot.

Ironically enough, It would actually not be that hard to do, as the 6 airlines ahead of me in the rankings have like 19.5 or greater utilization from their current aircraft.  This means that Ritz Airlines can very easily expand to 3 to 4 times its current valuation just by fully deploying all existing aircraft onto routes and bringing up overall utilization to 19 hours.

You won't need to buy additional aircraft at all for a long time.  As a matter of fact that would be one of the restrictions - not to buy anymore aircraft.

Some of the largest airports in the US have 33 gates or more with lots of slots remaining, so you have a lot of flexibility should I pick you to share control.

I ask that you abide by a few rules if you are picked to manage this airline:

1) Do not change the cabin configurations on any of the aircraft.

2) Do not buy any more new aircraft at all.

3) Do not sell any aircraft.

4) Do not close or alter any of the existing routes I already have - For the routes you create, i will come in behind you and optimize the routes should such be necessary.

5) DO NOT DECLARE BANKRUPTCY! <grin>

6) Try to exploit all the existing destinations before you start adding new gates to new destinations.

None of these restrictions should prove to be confining to you, as I have 2871 planes with 1501 more rolling in from the pipe as the days pass by.

One final note - Since this is shared control, I will still be taking a hand in the management of this airline.  Basically, you handle the operational end and I will handle purchasing and backend functionality.

So do you have what it takes to take Ritz Airlines to the number 1 spot?

If so, please leave your id number at the door, along with a brief missive stating who you are and what you think you can bring to the game.

One final thing to mention - If you are in the top 25 already, I will not accept you as a candidate for shared control, since you are basically serious competitors of this airline.  So dont ask!  <grin>

I will! I have considerable experience in operating very successful airlines, particularly in Asia, Germany and Brazil- where I've been able to produce major international 5-star airlines in Hong Kong, Frankfurt and more recently, Sao Paolo and Rio.
