Airline Depot was launched a year ago hoping to be a center for trust worthy airlines. By center I mean like Airline offers, Airline News and Airline Connections (with focus on North America). We currently do not have a decent website but we do have a You Tube, a Facebook Page and Twitter. It is still very much a project in process but just hoping you would check it out. I'm totally open to suggestions or ideas. I might just be interested in letting others join in as Admins and Mangers.

Website will come soon!

What is it exactly?

It is pretty much like a HQ for airlines. Photos, News, Offers/Sales, Videos...etc. Everything about airlines and aviation.

Your spelling & grammar isn't great, but other than that it looks good.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.

I just have several questions - what is the exact purpose of this 'project'; do you intend to promote Airlines, give airline and aviation news, or post and lead discussions about Aircraft?

I see on the Twitter page that you have promoted something with Volaris (I am assuming some local airline somewhere?), do you earn money with this or is it, at least for the moment, a personal project in progress?

And lastly - do you focus on particular Airlines or geographical locations around the globe? The reason for this question is that I also see on the Twitter page that there are numerous posts specifically about Mexican airlines.

To conclude this post, I want to give you two pieces of advice, which are really just from my own opinion:

1. Begin to deliver news at a global scale - e.g European airlines, Asian airlines, etc. This will help you get more followers as you are targeting more people around the world.

2. Concentrate more on delivering news, rather than promoting the deals of airlines, etc. Although you said above that you want to deliver Airline offers, I don't necessarily think that this is what will get people to follow you're page. Consider this, there are thousands of promotion sites for such things out there, including the companies actually offering the deals. People will primarily follow your page for airline and aviation news, aircraft news and pictures, and instant live updates about such things, especially over twitter. Therefore, I suggest doing these things foremost and cutting down the promotions and likewise posts.

This is just really my personal advice so don't feel the need to change anything, but I do hope you consider some of my thoughts.

Your project is just at its beginnings, but I do think this has some potential in the future.

Thanks!

The purpose of the project is to promote airlines, but at the same time give airline and aviation news. It is pretty much like a HQ for airlines. Photos, News, Offers/Sales, Videos...etc. Everything about airlines and aviation along with ratings and reviews. No we do not get money for promoting. It is a project in process so we are barely looking at what we can add and change.

The reason you see Mexican Carriers is because we do have a strong Hispanic audience but we will begin to recognize other airlines of different regions. We are from the LA and OC area in California so that is why you see that connection.

Thank you very much for the advice. We will begin delivering more airline and aviation news at a global scale. Thanks again!

Sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.

I am based in the European region, so I could potentially give information and news about airlines and aviation from Europe. How many people are already collaborating for this project? Just as a heads up that I could maybe do that...
