TWA/Amrican Airlines Flights Over the years

My mom was a AIC for TWA, and just recently was a Manager for AA .... and over the course of the last 18 years I have flown these 2 airlines ... like alot, so here are my flight reports... without further adieu....

I started flying Trans World AIrlines when there service hit rock bottom (figures), in 1996... i dont remember anything, but I heard it was OK .... but I do remember getting biscoff cookies in economy on short flights.

Going to Santo Domingo directly from STL was cool... i remember a little bit, mostly the flight being bumpy and eating a tortilla like food in Ambassador class. It was pretty good, and I was only like 5. I dont remember taking TWA flight 810 from BOS-CDG in 1997 for Christmas, by looking at pictures it looked very nice!! It was late, hence the term " Flight 810 , Late-10"

I visited Lisbon on TWA from JFK in late 2000, like June-ish.... and for the first time as I recall, a TWA flight was empty, sooooo we got Royal Ambassador Class.... which was superb.

Time passed, I grew older... and didnt care to travel, so every year my family met in different islands.... sooo, we took American Airlines' flights directly from Boston to these places... i remember it being very good actually in economy. No meals though

But in the last like .. 5 or 6 years, my family has had like a damn European fetish, so we have been hitting Europe lately...

Boston-Paris (2007) ... Horrible Flight, especially the delays from the STRIKE in Paris.

Chicago-Dublin (2010).. ehhh Flight... Not Irishy at all

Boston-London (2011)... Ehh It could been better... Only 1 meal???

New York-Lisbon (2012, via Madrid) .... Nice trip, Economy on AA 757 old one! No IFE at all, NO movies

New York-Zurich (2013).... Really Good! FIrst Class was amazing!! Highly Recommenced! Great IFE Samsung things

New York-MIlan (2013)... Bumpy as hell, horrible food, nice staff and seat was gross

Miami-Barcelona (2013) ..... Where do I begin? ... Economy Plus was fabulous (Bulkhead seats) ... Best European Economy Flight

Chicago-Dusseldorf (2013).... Slept through it,.... food wasnt good

Chicago-Dusseldorf (2014).... Uhm, THey only served 1 meal ... bad F/A's ... Bumpy and same movies played in November were played on this flight

Of course I have had more flights to Ft. Wayne, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Buenos Aires, Puerta Vallarta, Aruba, Cancun, San Juan, Santiago de los Callebrios, and Phoenix... but they seemed all the same to me.... OK Serive, unless you get MD-80 First Class.. that is Phenomenal !!!

So overall my experience as a non rev (D2, and occasionally D1) ... was amazing even though TWA was alot better
