Dream Air Lines announced today that they would be moving all operations from Paris-Orly Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport after a series of disputes with the airport management. The move will be conducted in two stages in order to disrupt customers in the least possible way. Details are listed below.

Phase 1: European Operations

Dream Air Lines will move all European operations from Paris Orly to Paris Charles de Gaulle on September 1st. Flights will be departing from Terminal 2 Hall D (2D). Extra personnel will be on hand to guide passengers during the first days of operations at Charles de Gaulle. All Volare Alliance airlines flying into Paris CDG will also be moving to occupy either Terminal 2C or Terminal 2D on September 8th, a week after Dream's move in order to minimize chaotic operations.

The frequency that Dream Air Lines buses operate between Charles de Gaulle and Orly will be increased from once every half hour to once every 15 minutes in order to better serve the needs of travelers connecting between European and International flights on Dream and other Volare airlines.

Phase 2: International Operations

Dream Air Lines is scheduled to move the remaining international operations from Orly to Charles de Gaulle on October 15th, 2004. Flights will be departing from Terminal 2 Hall C (2C). Passengers will be notified via. telephone and other communication ways of the final change to their itinerary and flight plans. Once again, extra personnel will be on hand to guide passengers and aid transfers between Dream Air Lines flights and other Volare Alliance flights.

Buses that operate transfers between Charles de Gaulle and Orly will not be running anymore due to the complete change in operations. Passengers transferring between the two airports can visit the Dream Air Lines desks in the baggage claim in order to receive guidance on how to transfer from Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

Cirrus Airlines a Lufthansa Regional partner, is announcing changes to a number of routes to Berlin. Flights into Berlin Tempelhof have been transferred to Berlin Tegel. The decision has been taken to enable better connections to our main partner Lufthansa as well as to enable connections onto our Volare Alliance members routes. This change affects the following services:

Bern - Berlin

Heringsdorf - Berlin

Mannheim - Berlin

Sylt - Berlin

Our Saarbrucken flights to Berlin have been transferred onto Luxair who operate twice daily flights into Tegel on their ERJ-145 aircraft.

The decision has also been taken to transfer service from the Lufthansa Regional partner Augsburg Airways onto Cirrus Airlines. The 7x weekly flights from Hof to Munich have been closed, with Cirrus Airlines now flying 14x weekly from Frankfurt. The movement of the flights to Frankfurt will give passengers connections onto more flights to more destinations across the Lufthansa and Volare Alliance network.
