Subsidiary of Afrikaana. The regional airlines is responsible of providing a domestic network for Nigeria, as well as to nearby countries on the African continent. The airlines achieved this objective while providing a high level of quality service and performance.

Livery

FKA320.png

(Please disregard its South African registration)

The current livery uses was adopted from its predecessor Pan African Aviation and Navigation (SA) Company. In 1992 PAAN bankrupted in South Africa due to mismanagement and a group of investors purchased the entity and reorganized it before moving its headquarter to Lagos, Nigeria and renamed it Afrikaana. The livery however was kept at the time due to financial reason and later on, historical heritage. It uses South Africa's former colours from the flag of the Orange Free State (Orange and White). Black was added to represent the idea of race equality among the population. Orange is later on redefined as to represent the Safari, while white remains to represent the brightness of our future.

Afrikaana is planning on unveiling a new identity by 2000 to welcome the new millenium. A preview has been released here.

Fleet

Afrikaana operates an all-Airbus fleet consisted of A320s/A321s and A330s/A340s. This combination saves Afrikaana numerous amount of capital on maintenance and staff training. All of our planes uses CFM/General Electric engines, further simplifies our parts requirement.

Afrikaana Regional operates Saab SF-340s on its domestic network, while several A320s allocated from the mainline services the major trunk routes it has to several neighbouring countries.

Service

On the mainline Afrikkana operation we offer two classes of service: Our Premium service comes with a 5 stars rated IFE and a 4 stars rated inflight service, while our Regular service offers a 4 stars IFE and comes with a 3 stars rated inflight service.

Due to the complex geopolitical and economic elements in play in the African continent, Afrikaana Regional only offers a single-class service aboard its fleet of SF-340s and A320s. However we provide an unmatched IFE system and inflight service, both are rated with a 4 stars rating.

We constantly review our competitors' services, and revise / upgrade our service accordingly. The current system however has been excelling its function since its implementation in 1995.

Network

As of December 1997, Afrikaana and its regional subsidiary serves over 110 destinations around the world from our hubs in Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

9 in the Middle East

14 in the Americas

19 in Asia and Oceania

27 in Europe

47 in Africa

The end result of the poll was a 75% yes vote.

Therefore you have been accepted into GMI.

Myself and Speed Bird would like to work with you closely to improve your route map

somewhat.

Thanks,

Kai
