Greetings AE.

 

GMI has begun talks today with the management of Essence Alliance over a possible joining

of the two alliances. This comes as Essence have seen a recent decline in both activity and 

members while GMI has been growing steadily as well as many Essence members also being

part of GMI simultaneously. Essence & GMI management have come to the conclusion that a

merger may enhance services for both passengers and members alike by providing better

connectivity and a greater sense of community.

 

A merger will be confirmed in coming days by Essence.

 

More news to come as it is available.

The vote is currently strongly in favour so the decision was made to announce a possible merger.

I agree with this up until the point it says almost. Should it be Essence or GMI members responding to this? Given your history with both alliances, you shouldn't care.

I would use 'resentful' actually. Anyway, this thread was made to inform members of AE that there could be a merger, instead of Essence being here one day, gone the next. As I said, this was made to be informative, not spammed by an idiot who enjoys making enemies.
