The first event of the new AE Flight Club is this evening. It will commence at 19:00GMT+1 (DST). The event will be a race through the rocky mountains in a Cessna 172. More will be revealed closer to the time!

Now, by "More will be revealed closer to the time!" Does that include things like IP adress, starting airport and wether or not a microphone is required?

I'm thinking of postponing the event for a few days, not much interest. I know there are a couple of people still doing exams. Maybe it would be better to wait?

if on VATSIM I May be down, FS2004 is what I have, I Would only be able to hang around for like roughly a hour or so though as I have windows 8.1 Preview still so the computer restarts every 2 hours.

No, it's just a regular old FShost server because if we were doing this on the VATSIM network, it would just be embarrasing for all of us

LOL VATSIM is bit extreme, i know the basic ATC, but if i using the microphone don't expect me to readback all of those words back, i just say okay, or roger

My statement about having the event in VATSIM was less about the ATC and more that we would be flying in a random freaking airspace without propper consent.
