Apparently a drunken passenger raised the alarm.

But why the pilot squawking 7500 if it wasn't that serious..

The drunk passenger "attempted" to break into the cockpit i.e. he slammed into the cockpit door and started banging on it, leading the crew to believe it was an attempted hijacking and hence the 7500 squawk.
