how this will be different from designer's showcase?

It's not very different, just that the people who do it here can get a few more tips and then can get into the designers showcase.

I didn't realise that this topic is in alliance page, so probably is related to the alliance.

However, I have another idea to probably interest designers.

 

The background is that sometimes airlines have special liveries regarding special events or to shout messages or simply for commercial purposes.

(BA's 2012 Olympics, ANZ's The Hobbit, etc.)

 

Why not set up a monthly challenge for designers to customise standard liveries to special ones, with a theme to follow.

For example, this month we can have the theme of 'Lunar New Year' or 'Valentine'.

And maybe include additional rules like 'Utilise Comic Sans' or 'No Straight Lines'.

 

For the best of it, don't make it a competition. Rather, make it a way to improve techniques, practise idea building, or just a place to share giggles whenever we're in this website.
