Thought I posted this here, but I guess I forgot:

I've found a good source (via Wikipedia) for the Electra, at least for early models:

http://www.flightglo...955 - 1595.html

To boil it down simply,

In a one class 3-2 one class config, 85 is good for a realistic 50s-60s time period, and for a 2-2 one class config, 66 seems to be normal. What I've used in the past, however, is a two-class config, where I removed the 3 row front cabin, and replaced it with a 2-2 2 row C cabin.

In short, for early Electras:

66Y

85Y

8C/70Y

I'm sure there are airlines that used more seats in later years, Reeve Aleutian comes to mind, but I can't find anything definitive for them.

Now to the second addition to the index! IFS configurations to help your airline get realistic, good In Flight Servcices! Still need good economy configurations, if you got one, please contact moi.

I believe you can do 4* meals for all 9 meal options and it will still give you 5* rating for First. For Business, I maintain the same meals and snacks but cut down on accessories - there would be no children's entertainment bag or on board souvenirs. For International Economy, I offer 2 choices of 3* meals, all snacks (4*), PIllows, blankets, Newspapers and headphones. For Domestic Economy, same meal and snack options and newspapers/headphones, but remove Pillows/blankets. For short regional flights, 6 snacks at 4*, Newspapers and headphones.

Could anyone possibly do one of a budget Airline.  I want to make as much money as possible for IFS without having cost installing anything. Am currently make $3 per passenger and 2 star.

Well 5* meals sold at about 10% more than the cost gives 3 star rating for meals

Well, under every Air Asia seat, there is a saw, you use it to cut your legs off. No more cramped :)

3-3-3 in Y has nothing to do with legroom, more to do with seat width (and aisle width for that matter) so i'm not too sure what cutting your legs off achieves.

Less pain from side, more from legs

That configuration features a bar in the middle of the aircraft.

Updated the IFS section.
