As the title says! How many A380's have you ordered or use in your airline in this or other worlds.
My maximum was LAI a few (10-15 months ago) had over 280! Now in R6 (Alitalia) have so far ordered 180? How bout you?

None - quite happy with twins by the time A380s come around
never knew Italy could support 130 A380s
you would be surprised! I found it difficult to use them and situate them in routes, but I used 75 of them to replace older aircraft.

Why do you not use the A380s? surely they have massive advantages, especially if you are in America since you have a LOT of demand compared to Europe?
I once had an airline with about 3,000 on order but then the game ended. It only took delivery of about 1,000. That's my record. For DOP on an A380 my record is €8 million
thats still pretty unrealistic though?? 3000 orders of JUST A380s, but then again neither is 180. so they are profitable aircraft that are useful right??
Trust me, they can't. He had 130 A380s, combined with about 550 other widebodies. I know because I've seen his airline.
thats not true! I have received no current A380 so you are not the one to judge my airline. and i actually have 350 widebodies and it is fine for me. I am slowly catching up on the idle aircraft after i had to go to hospital for two days. and i plan from expanding from italian locations to the world.
thanks SATA International for helping me sort out my aircraft while i had some problems. I am currently at 50 idle aircraft and they are slowly going down!
Too Much A380 won't work in Italian hubs. The airport demand are not as high as LHR or LGW or those in CDG. The route will be full of capacity and that make the DOP of that route goes down. You wouldn't want A380 to fly on a market of 200 seats in 1000-2000 miles don't you? A380s are not so good as it appeared when the game is nearly ended. Plus, it took four weeks to have a plane. You would rather order a lot of family of widebodies for your routes. It just works better. Try compare A380 with other planes.

Well, there has only ever been 105 A380s built. My personal record in 100. I ordered them to replace 747s in O2 a few months ago.
so they are more profitable than other planes (like 747's etc) just they dont have that kinda reputation that the 747's do! But Lamina Group is right about the A380 discussion! It would be impossible for me to actually be able to use all those aircraft while still making money, so we will have to see what happens! but to finish off they are good aircraft at large airports (like Atalanta, Heathrow and Charles Des Gaules (is that how you spell it) but not Rome, Milan or Venice?
Yikes. All of you lot are abusing A380s, over the course of me being on AE I've only put about 25 into service (that covers 4 airlines).

I was considering to cancel them, but I didn't because I knew how much money you spent on them.
There's a better idea. Use it up to replace the regional routes. It ultimately works for me in EU

If you're based in the US or at some bigger european airport there's absolutely no problem putting 25 - 60 A380s into service while maintaining significant frequency. I do agree that fleets of more than 150 - 200 are a bit useless, because by then most of your routes warrant an A350, which actually has a better CASM (at least the later versions).Yikes. I think that i have spent around $1billion between leasing and buying them in R6
None - I'm happy with my 747s and twinjets.
But is it not better for 'business' to have A380's rather than 747's cause they have bigger capacity?

Thats impossible? use a A380 on FCO-LHR or CDG-LHR? it would be easier, but customer satisfaction goes down since you have significantly less frequency?? dont you agree?

I use 777-300ERs and 747-8s instead because I prefer more realistic fleets. If I did have A380s, the number of routes that could support them with decent frequency and by decent frequency I mean at least 7 weekly flights, would be way less than the number of routes that could support 747s and 777s. I find 300-400 seats on 747s and 777s better than 500 on an A380.
i guess that is an advantage! but in REAL life are the A380's popular with airlines (forget what passengers think about them being the biggest or the 'coolest') do airlines like the A380's??
Most I have had was a 500+ widebody airline with including over 50 A380s....It was based in Fiji too
