I'm a fan of the A350 cause it is spacious inside and the overall look is nice (in my opinion).    I also like the 787 for its wings.

Let's see...

Personally, the DC-8 should have never have been created. It's possibly among the ugliest ever to grace the skies. PLANES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DISFIGURED LIKE THAT!

What's wrong with DC-8? I think that the classic long-range narrow-body 4-engine planes (707, DC-8, VC10, Il-62) are the most elegant passenger aircraft ever made, hard to say which one I would put first, probably 707... Too bad I was born too late to see much of them in use.

They are beautiful, but which plane would be my favorite, it's hard to say, depends on which era and purpose,

My favorite aircraft would be the 777-9. Even though it is still in development. It has one of the most spacious cabins combined with those powerful GE engines. It also has a fuel burn that is just lovely for long distance.

My favourite would have to be the MD-80 series (excluding the MD-87). The design is long, sleek and was one of the most efficient short-medium haul airliners during the 1980s and 1990s. It's T-tail design made it look quite cool. Even though they are now out of production and obsolete compared to modern Boeing 737's and Airbus A320's low fuel burn, it compensated for having lower maintenance costs. Because of this, it was used for high-frequency flights, and was regarded as a bona fide workhorse for the short-medium haul sector, and was favoured by many airlines around the world until 1999, when McDonnell Douglas sadly went bankrupt and merged with Boeing; while they did not choose to take up new orders.

The A300-600R, A330-300, 747-300, 747-8i, and 767-400ER are all gorgeous, but the 777-300ER is the prince of the skies...

Bombardier q400 nextgen, great legroom, little or no engine noise, jetbridge loading. Just note the massive engine cowling if you are in rows 7-16. Also great for airline empires

Boeing 777-300er. Exhilerating takeoff. Acceleration is great. Legroom on BA was great. Windows are good size. Never used them in airline empires because the 787 is much better, especially the 787-10.

Airbus A380. Great for serving trunk routes such Heathrow to JFK. Uber profitable in airline empires. Other fees aren't double the A350s but the A380 is double the size. Although more marginal, fuel costs are about 190% of those of the A350.

As of October 25, 2014, KLM will no longer operate the Passenger Version of the MD-11. The remaining 5 will join the other 4 and will be pulled out of service and scrapped.

5 Remain in service till that date, 4 have been sent to be scrapped and 1 was written off.

B777-200ER looks great and is more logical than the LR.

Also the A320 Family makes money anywhere. And its basically all I fly living in Charlotte.

In terms of comfort and the one I like to fly on the most, it has to be the Airbus A380
