You've heard it right, AVIANCA GLOBAL, the currently #1 airline in O1 is looking for a partner/stakeholder to help manage the airline.

Current DOP: 455 million+

Last month net income: 5.64bn

Profit margin: 35-36%

Routes: 3603 (11pm ET)

Hubs: 33

Current idle aircraft: 544 (out of 1755) about 50/50 between widebody and narrowbody.

Profile link: http://ae31.airline-...e3o1&player=336

Avianca Global is specializing on Western hemisphere routes (The Americas, Europe and some Middle East). AG has recently acquired a fleet of 300+ airplanes from a bankrupt airline.

Whom I expect to respond to this offer:

Somebody who is capable to co-manage a big, really big airline.

You must be an experienced player who is not playing in O1 a Top 50 airline. Having several hours time difference between us (plus or minus) is an advantage. I am on New York time.

In the beginning I would expect you to do aircraft placement and co-search for new undiscovered routes. I would explain you my process of route placement.

Later on I would explain you my system for route revision to manage yield on routes where competitor has put additional capacity and/or undercut me. In the beginning I would be taking care of this part.

YOU MUST HAVE A FEASIBLE STRATEGY TO GROW THIS AIRLINE IF YOU ARE TO BE CONSIDERED.

Please PM me (through AE messaging system) with the following information:

Your current airline data, or historical airline data (your achievements)

Your experience on AE

Why do you think you are the best candidate to become my partner in this airline

What would be your strategy to grow this airline if you were to become my partner in this airline, and to maintain it on #1 spot

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sounds a wee bit like you want somebody to do everything for you.

@Amadeus  hmmm... I think more of this as preparation for AE4 where minimum 2 people will be required to run an airline.

I am good at strategy, that strategy made me #1. I am just getting a bit tired of clicking and deploying.

@zipcalculator .... I opened up this as an opportunity for somebody to be part of something big, not for others (like you) to piss on me.

When the DOC was getting the manager for his airline, I didn't see this kind of responses in his thread. So why the double standard?

Re you first post: the previous winner of O1 had a DOP of $63 billion and was valued at $270-280 trillion with profit margins between 60 and 60% when it finished. That person didn't get many responses when the airline was put up for co running.
Re Zipp: I agree
Re Amadeus: I agree too. You'd be better off targeting someone here for only 3 or 4 months and teaching them yourself
Re above: in O1 deploying 1,000 planes an hour is easy

If you want to make Avianca, the least you could do is base it in Bogota.

My Friend, if you haven't noticed, this is the OPEN world.

But, by the same token,

#2 LOT - WAW (home base) 12 gates, TPE 18 gates, SHA 13 gates, TYN 12 gates, HET 11 gates,

#3 EUROPI - MAD (home base) 9 gates, BWI 20 gates, EWR 20 gates, MDW 17 gates, KMG 15 gates.

#4 VARIG - GRU (home base) 14 gates, DTW 19 gates, AUS 14 gates

#5 AIR ULSAN - FUK (home base) 50 gates, BKK 50 gates, CTU 40 gates, CPH 50 gates, MEX 55 gates,

You've got anything more to say?

Maybe because you come across as cocky and arogant?  I dunno, just a hunch.

That was not the intention. The intention was to share in the success.

I'd say something but I just don't feel like it.
