The Interplanetary Exploration Vessel "Minerva", the name basically says everything about its purpose.

 

A kilometer or so of solar system exploring metal, fuel and perishables (including the astronauts). I built it in KSP, so I guess the launch pad would be the Kerbal Spaceport. Also, it's got a crew of five.

Yeah about that.

 

Since there's so much crap that I put onto the ship, time is running at around 1/10 speed when I fire the engines up. With burn times of upwards of half an hour (game time) ending up actually taking five hours, I thought it wasn't worth it.
