Hello! I joined yesterday and this is my first post lol is there a way to set different seating arrangements for the same type of aircraft? I have a bunch of 727's and i need a few of them to have less first class seating than the others! If I can't do this that's ok! I was just curious!

Yes, simply in-game go to "Configure Cabin Layout". From there you can select the aircraft type you want to modify and set the configuration. You can make numerous configurations. To set or change your fleet's configuration, you can go to the bottom, select the type, and select from what seating you would like to change. If the seating was from a previous owner, make sure you set the seating change from default to your new configuration. Welcome!

Hi, I'm DOC.  You may have noticed that I'm consistently in the number 1 spot and always in the top 10 (aside from R Delta).  Contrary to what people say, I don't have to "spam" by flooding routes at $1 etc.  It's all about efficiency.  There are also countless ways to cut costs and increase revenue (aside from scam IFS).  I'm looking for new players here on AE to teach these ways to.  So, if you're having trouble with airlines or simply want to learn, I'll start an airline and give it to you.  With this, I will share some tricks and I will monitor the airline and I will try to make sure that you get the best out of it.  There is no catch. So, if you're interested, send me a PM and I'll do my best for you

Okay, Hi I'm Don. I have been looking for an airline simulation for a long time since I gave up making my own. I think this is very close to what I had envisioned. I grew up working for a small commuter and, I guess, I enjoy the numbers that can be generated. I very much enjoye my time with the little airline but this was back at deregulation time and my employer was absorbed into the industry that didn't seem as much fun as the little airline, do everything, situation I was in. Everything from checking in irate Pax to pulling planes (Beech B99's) from the hangar. 

As I understand it, This game is meant to be played to achieve the number one ranking by competing against the programming but not necessarily competing as airline against airline in a particular market.

Perhaps you can explain how certain things can happen.

I noticed one player who doubled the default pricing on his uncontested routes and simply enjoyed twice the revenue. When I try setting the price slightly over default I see a dropoff in pax. Is this a trick or just maybe route specific where one can make this adjustment?

Also. I seem afffected by another player joining a route but without F class flights so his price is set at $1. He has no seats to steal my pax but I'd hate to fly 2000 miles knowing I paid $300 when I ould have paid $1. No IFS seems to make it better.

Terminals are basically a large building that gates are built in. Buying Terminals becomes important as you hub grows as you are only allowed to leas 5 gates at an airport before you must build a terminal. Each terminal adds 5 more gates for you at an airport.
