Hi, I would like to apply PLUNA (Lineas Aereas Uruguayas S.A.) to join SkyGroup in R5.

My current fleet is:

A319-100- 0 in fleet (6 on order)

A340-200 - 26 in fleet (13 on order)

An-72 - 1 in fleet (0 in order)

ATR-72-200 - 2 in fleet (0 on order)

Avro RJ85  - 1 in fleet (0 on order)

B737-300 - 8 in fleet (0 on order)

B737-500 - 5 in fleet (0 on order)

B757-200 - 13 in fleet (0 on order)

B767-200 - 2 in fleet (1 on order)

B767-200ER - 41 in fleet (7 on order)

B767-300ER - 10 in fleet (0 on order

CN-235-100 - 7 in fleet (0 on order)

Fokker F-100 - 3 in fleet (0 on order)

My average age is: 2.39

My average utilisation is: 19.16 hours

Please may I bring it to your attention that I am planning on replacing the B737-300 and B737-500 with the A319-100 in 1996 when the plane is first delivered to me.

IFE and IFS is currently a SCAM IFE, which I am in the process of changing.

Since demand in and out of Uruguay is  relatively small (maximum route that I know of is just over 120 daily pax) I do not max out aircraft, so my 767-200ER has a configuration of: 2F, 5C and 256Y. I have 4 hubs at: MVD (HQ), PDP, STY and RVY, which are all the airports in Uruguay at this time.

Thanks for listening,

CEO of PLUNA

C.Gilardini

Hello,

You mentioned that you wanted to get rid of your 737's, do you want to get rid of them entirely or just the older model? Do you have plans for A320's/larger planes in the series(and thats fine if you dont)? You also mention that you do scan IFE (which is fine in the beggining) but what star levels do you target for your future IFE/IFS?

Overall I think you have a very good airline, very well structured, and an organized fleet with a steady route network, and since we dont have anybody operating in South America there wouldnt be a problem with competition so overall its looking really good :)

Right I will be planning on completely removing my 737's so that I can get the A319 which has better traits for my kind of airline. For the A320 I have no plans in mind, but I am always looking for aircraft that have a long range (6500+), 300 pax being able to fit and a relatively small runway length (8000 or under). For the future IFE and IFS I am planning on creating a 2 or 3 star from 0 - 2500 miles and 3-5 for anything above it, but I have to consider profits for the airline, so it is all yet to be decided.

I also have a question myself,

since none of your members operate to any of my hubs (which is understandable) how will I manage to get connecting pax to go through my airline?

Thanks

You will get connecting traffic from flying into our hubs (for example, you fly to JFK, which is my main hub, therefore you get connecting traffic).

But yeah, your airline seems to be pretty good, pretty organized, so congrats. You have been accepted!

Welcome!

Thanks so much for this opportunity!! In reply to Nexus yeah this is the airline that only operated CRJ but I have sort of changed the aircraft so that I can make bigger profits and expand easier!

Thanks
