Good lad, although I have never flown Air Nostrum myself, I know many who have and have told me good things.
(I know a few people who always fly Air nostrum ALC-IBZ)

Why does everyone hate Ryanair? Without them I'd have never been outside of Ireland and the UK! You get what you par for....

You do. It is an issue when they charge as much as other carriers who offer a better service *cough* Monarch *cough*

Hey there
I have read your blog and I must say Ryanair will become liquidated if they do not improve.
In terms of the "wings" they are designed to move all the time, and they are designed to do that. By allowing the wings to flex, designers reduce the bumpiness of the ride in turbulence, and reduce the mechanical stress on the other parts of the airframe.
The wings won't break off. They are tested during the prototyping phase of the aircraft design and they literally have to be bent into a U shape before they will break. You can find videos of these tests on YouTube. They never come even remotely close to bending like that in actual service.
The larger the aircraft, the more the wings will flex. Even on take-off, for a large aircraft, you can see that the wings droop on the ground, but then gradually straighten out and finally bend upwards slightly as the airplane takes off. It's all normal.
The first time you see wings (and engines) bouncing around in turbulence, it can be unsettling, but it's harmless and safe. If the wings were perfectly stiff, you'd be bouncing up and down in your seat a lot more instead.

I must say Ryanair is unlikely to go bankrupt due to people demand for cheap, no frills flights - they are one of the most profitable airlines in the world at current

Just to add to the Ryanair discussion: A pilot was recently fired for criticizing the safety policy of the airline. Pilots are being told to fly with too little reserve fuel, and he was threatened to lose his job in a letter from Ryanair telling him that he tanked too much fuel. Link

Ryanair is a fine airline for people who need just a backpack and a flight. Its when people expect extras that it gets out of hand. If you go into Ryanair thinking of it like a bus service you'll be fine. If you go into it expecting a luxurious flight its gonna suck for you

I know this is an old thread, but I read it again and again (the Ryanair bashing I mean). Could someone that has flown with both Ryanair and Air Nostrum tell me the difference between them?

I found Air Nostrum to be far better, still awful but better

Could you be more specific? Is your opinion based on IFS or on lugagge allowance or legroom or whatever?
