Not certain if this has been mentioned, but....

I was playing in the "No Leasing" World & had the #3 & #4 airlines.

I ceased ops on both. Why?

When opening a route, especially @ the start of this world, I did exactly what a player should do...max the fares & avoid competition & pick high demand routes & do everything possible to buy aircraft/increase capacity.

However, I found a pricing flaw that makes no sense.

Here is an example...

I open a route between A-B that has demand @ like 2030 daily seats. My aircraft has like 10C/150Y & when I start the route the "fixed" pricing is like $603C/$330Y. So, I start to max out pricing & the result is something like $1550C/$341Y...& if I go $1 higher on the Y to $342 I get 99% capacity, $2 more 98% capacity etc-etc-etc. Basically that is that, $341Y = 100% capacity & the route is earning $170,000, Great!. But, I was wrong. I looked @ the pricing of a few other airlines & saw wildly high Y fares on routes that were identical & had no competition. So, I go back to the route I just mentioned & boost the Y price to $500 = 24% capacity. I then go up to $700 & it equals 100% capacity & the route is now making a $350,000 profit?!?!? Obviously I boosted the Y fares on all my routes & it worked, I was making $500,000K+ daily w/ 10 flights on an MD-83. My profits went through the roof.

Is this a bug? It has to be. Why would capacity drop if I go from $341Y to $343Y...then vanish to like 20% if I go to $500...but then go back to 100% if I go to $700-$800?

How many seats were you offering on the route and how many seats were your competitors offering?

I didn't do a load of trial & error, so I don't have a precise # of seats. Yet in the non-leasing world it is pretty easy to find major routes w/ no-competition. I guess an example would be when I got my 1st 757...I put it on something like LAX-EWR & priced it the way I had previously where you make major boosts to the C fare & $1-$2 boost in Y until it settled @ 100% & what I assumed was the max-out pricing & the plane was making something like $300K. After I boosted the Y fare to like $850 the plane was making well north of $1,100,000 a day.

No clue about competitors becuase I avoided every route that had a competitor.

THE PROBLEM...sorry Yuxi & all....is a that a range issue on an airplane or a glitch with gates, etc should be resolved....but this is a problem/bug that should be REVEALED to ALL Players in all worlds...it creates a wildly unfair & uncompetitive advantage for those who know. I appreciate your wanting to get more people engaged & understanding & create a sandbox play area...that is really cool...but, this is so unfair that it makes the "point" sort of "pointless" unless you just want to "win" or score in the top 10. This, if possible should be fixed in the current worlds, becuase it is just totally unfair UNLESS IN BIG RED LETTERS it is clearly stated to all players that this is the glitch & this is how you can use it to your advantage. Just my thoughts...this is the first major bug I have found...otherwise, really great game!

I have already mentioned this to Yuxi and to the bug tracker and is confirmed as a bug. I was also frustated when after a while someone with 1/5 of passengers was earning almost 3 times more money! Now I am also suspicious about the huge advantage hubs(?) can give since someone can put almost twice the demand seats (with almost max price) and earns a hell of money (especially on high demand routes) making demand grow even 50%. Unfortunately those kind of bugs ruin every attempt of strategy making the game a question of who takes advantage of more flaws of the game.
