In O* (No Political Restrictions) Worlds please separate aircraft delivery queues in aircraft families
so each member of the aircraft families has separate delivery queues

This would allow for more use of less popular members of each aircraft family if ordering them wont
delay the delivery of more popular aircraft you want to order

Note it has 'no political restrictions', politics has nothing to do with how slow/fast and on which lines manufacturers build aircraft.

The overall quote of this 'Please make the game easier for me as I cba to wait for 2 game years before I get the other aircraft of the type' simple answer is no as this is how the real world works and making AE easier,is something we cannot, and simply should not do

If you want a challenge then play in the R* (Realistic) Worlds,

however not everyone is as talented as you and we want to be able to
have a relatively easier time paying Airline Empires as I have suggested for the O* (Open) Worlds above (first post)

The point is to have different types of aircraft delivery systems based on the world type:

O* (Open) Worlds

or

R* (Realistic) Worlds

I'd say I'm a pretty mediocre player at AE and even then I'm perfectly fine with delivery slot times and the way they work.

However with all of the proposed changes to the worlds the O* (Open) Worlds will get harder to play:

AE Topic: New Aircraft Deliveries and Backlogs (p1)
AE Topic: New Aircraft Deliveries and Backlogs (p2)
AE Topic: New Aircraft Deliveries and Backlogs (p3)

with this suggestion
(in the first post in AE Topic: In O* (No Political Restrictions) Worlds please separate aircraft delivery queues in aircraft families )
implemented it would allow for both types of players to enjoy Airline Empires:

R* (Realistic) Worlds for experienced players
O* (Open) Worlds for inexperienced players

more active AE users = higher advertisement rates for Yuxi,
also making the O* (Open) Worlds harder to play will decrease usage thus decreasing advertisement revenue for Yuxi

What is the difference between what you are suggesting and the existing system? Right now production lines are already separated by aircraft family.

In these posts AE seems to be going towards a more difficult model of play,
my point is that at least one AE world needs to be as suggested above so
everyone can play (and I dislike R* worlds because I do not like the R* world's restrictions)

So with the suggested changes to the O* worlds it would make O* worlds more competitive

The difference is I would be able to order 2* Boeing 737-300's, then 2* Boeing 737-400's, then 2* Boeing 737-500's,

Currently I am limited to buying one aircraft in each family due to the way deliveries inside aircraft families are set up - in this example all Boeing 737-500's

* = a smaller example for brevity, the order amounts would be higher in game (say 50 , 50, 50)

Current delivery system =
2 Boeing 737-300's delivered then
2 Boeing 737-400's delivered then
2 Boeing 737-500's delivered

in this current system if I then ordered another 2 737-500's they would be delivered AFTER the 2 737-300's and the 2 737-400's

Proposed O* worlds delivery system would =
1 Boeing 737-300 delivered then
1 Boeing 737-400 delivered then
1 Boeing 737-500 delivered then
1 Boeing 737-300 delivered then
1 Boeing 737-400 delivered then
1 Boeing 737-500 delivered

Speaking of AE moving towards a more difficult type of play.

Yes, but with each aircraft having SEPARATE delivery queues inside the 'easy' game

Oh, so you want a delivery line per aircraft type (instead of per family) in O worlds. I don't see this being a popular idea, seeing how quickly AE worlds are flooded with aircraft as it is...

and dare I say, in a really easy game do away with the delivery dates altogether (so all of the aircraft are available)

However paradoxically some of us find this kind of an O* world (with all of the aircraft "flooded" as it were) to be a more interesting game to play

I wholeheartedly support this.

It would pull some of the spamlines out of the realistic worlds and leave them to decimate open worlds,  therefore hugely improving my playing experience.

100% support.

The obscene demand for aircraft in AE also comes from the fact that the total number of passengers in AE is unrealistically high. According to ICAO, 2.9 billion people flew in 2012. Dividing that by the number of days in a year, we get about 8 million passengers a day (a very rough figure). In R4 right now (with just under 200 airlines), there are 38.6 million passengers flying per day. Even if you can correct for connections and other data errors, the whole scale (including the number of aircraft in service) is out of whack. This discrepancy has to be fixed to bring fleet sizes and delivery rates down to realistic figures.

I'm thinking is more of a given due to the size of the AE servers. If we cut demand by 30 million, the airlines scavenging off those 30 million passengers need to be removed as well.

A proper incentive not to run spamlines would help...

Well Thank you but it doesnt take much talent at all for ae also what difference will it make? none, it just slows down the growth and makes the game realistic in that department

Oh my goodess what has become of ae players

The current system can be a pain in later years as I need:
- A320-200 to replace near 20 year old A320s
- A318 to replace Bae 146
- A319-100 to replace MD-88

I would like to be able to order all of these at the same time.

BUT, the problem with allowing orders like this is that in a new world airlines will order all the versions that they can to speed deliveries.
